Local Priorities Drug dealing/ drug use Message

I wanted to provide an update regarding drug dealing / drug use, which some members around this area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the Met Engage priority survey.

Officers conducted a weapon and drug sweep in hotspots around Southall Green and Norwood Green. A few knives were found and seized from these areas in order to be destroyed. Some people were moved on from these areas to reduce ASB issues. Overall it was a highly successful operation and will be continued in the future in order to reduce and solve ASB issues within the area.

We are committed to tackling drug dealing wherever we find it. We will keep you updated on our efforts to do this in your area, but if you have any concerns or evidence, it is important you report this as soon as possible.
